1.Agreement to Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Boritom. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use Boritom.

2.The Service

Boritom is an AI-powered tool that tailors your resume and related materials to specific job descriptions, estimates how well your resume matches an applicant tracking system (ATS), and suggests improvements. Features may change over time as we improve the product.

3.Accounts & Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old to use Boritom. You are responsible for the information you provide, for keeping your login credentials secure, and for all activity under your account.

4.Tokens, Plans & Payments

Boritom uses generation tokens. Each token covers one complete generation (resume, cover letter, recruiter and LinkedIn messages, and ATS report). New accounts receive a free token to try the service. Additional tokens are sold in packs (Starter, Pro, Max) as one-time purchases processed by Stripe.

Prices are shown at checkout and may change. Tokens do not expire. Except where required by law, purchases are final; if something goes wrong with a purchase, contact us and we will make it right.

5.Your Content & License

You retain ownership of the content you provide (your profile, resumes, and job descriptions) and of the documents Boritom generates for you. You grant us a limited license to process your content solely to provide the service to you — including sending it to the AI subprocessors described in our Privacy Policy.

6.AI-Generated Output

Boritom uses AI to generate and edit text. AI output can contain errors or omissions. You are responsible for reviewing and verifying every document before you use or submit it. Boritom does not guarantee interviews, employment, or that any resume will pass a particular ATS or recruiter. ATS scores are estimates, not guarantees.

You agree to provide truthful information and not to use Boritom to misrepresent your qualifications.

7.Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use Boritom for any unlawful, fraudulent, or deceptive purpose.
• Upload content you do not have the right to use, or that infringes others’ rights.
• Attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, or gain unauthorized access to the service.
• Resell or redistribute the service without our permission.

8.Intellectual Property

Boritom, including its software, design, brand, and the "Bori it" mark, is owned by us and protected by intellectual-property laws. These Terms do not grant you any rights in our brand or software except the right to use the service as intended.

9.Disclaimers

The service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement, to the maximum extent permitted by law.

10.Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Boritom and its team will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost opportunities, arising from your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

11.Termination

You may stop using Boritom and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or to protect the service and its users.

12.Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will revise the “Last updated” date above, and your continued use of Boritom after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.

13.Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules.
